Saturday’s Recipe: A Refreshing Citrus Drink for Summer

What can beat a nice cold drink on a hot summer’s day?  This drink is filled with citrus juices and fresh mint.  I make it all summer long!

Citrus Mintade

3 cups cold water
2 cups fresh orange juice
1 cup fresh pink grapefruit juice
1/2 cup fresh lime juice
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1 cup loosely packed fresh mint leaves, torn
1/2 cup granulated sugar, or to taste
Garnish:  fresh mint sprigs

Stir together water, juices, mint, and sugar in a large pitcher until sugar is dissolved.  Chill until very cold, at least 1 hour.  Taste to see if you want to add additional sugar.  Serve over ice.  Makes about 7 cups.
