Are you a bread baker?  Or would you like to learn more about it?  Either way, you will love the two cookbooks this week in my give-away!

The Italian Baker by Carol Field is considered a masterpiece in the cookbook world.  The author appeared with Julia Child on her popular PBS series, “In Julia’s Kitchen with Master Chefs.”  This comprehensive book is like taking you through the Italian countryside without leaving your kitchen.  Over 400 pages of pure bliss.

McCall’s Home-Baked Breads from 1981 is filled with comforting yeast breads like coffeecakes, dinner rolls, and sweet rolls, along with quick breads biscuits, muffins, doughnuts, and cornbread.  Both books are bound to please any bread enthusiast.

To enter the random drawing, leave me your name and email address by midnight this Friday, September 24 at [email protected] or [email protected]  so I can contact you if your name is drawn.

Congratulations to Mary B. from Michigan who won last week’s drawing!  Come back every week to see what exciting new books will be given away.

Your description of loving cookbooks describes my love of them to a tee!! I have been collecting since I was a child and my collection has grown to out of the kitchen and into a bookcase in the bedroom! I love baking all sorts of breads, scones, biscuits, muffins…I love it all!

Hi, JoAnn – I’m so glad to have another kindred spirit in cookbooks! One can never have enough, which is why I love giving them away every week. Does this mean you want to enter the drawing for this week?! Come back every week, because there is always something new and fun to give away.
