Kids love fun back-to-school snacks in their lunch boxes or for an after school treat. My girls are way beyond that age, but my husband is still a child at heart and loves this mix.
The mix is loaded with two kinds of Chex cereal, Cheerios, pretzels, peanuts, plain and peanut M & M’s, and coated with melted white chocolate. Kids love it. Even big kids.
Lunchbox Munch
3 cups Rice Chex
3 cups Corn Chex
3 cups Cheerios
2 cups stick pretzels
2 cups peanuts
1 bag (about 12 ounces) plain M & M’s
1 bag (about 12 ounces) peanut M & M’s
1 bag (12 ounces) white chocolate morsels
Mix all ingredients except white chocolate, in a large bowl. Melt white chocolate according to package directions. Pour over mixture in bowl and toss well to coat. Spread on wax paper or parchment paper and let sit until chocolate hardens. Store in an airtight container. (You can use the various Holiday M & M’s when they are available, for a fun seasonal treat)
