Sunset Cookbook of Favorite Recipes
Mollie Katzen’s Vegetable Heaven
Anything Mollie Katzen writes is celebrated, including this book that will have you buying out your local Farmer’s Market to try her recipes.
Monday to Monday with Elaine
Every day for the next week I will be showing you books from a dear and generous reader.
Cookbooks from Rhode Island
Michelle from Rhode Island generously sent cookbooks for The Culinary Cellar, many for desserts. I hope her sweet tooth will like what I found in this book.
Cookbooks From Two Illinois Sisters
Two sisters from Illinois had boxes of cookbooks for me. One was a book with an easy recipe for a batter bread with chives, which I have in my herb garden.
Books from Mississippi
What’s more fun than a box of mostly vintage cookbooks from a reader? One book had a recipe for this beautiful cardamom braid.
Helen Fields, The Pride of Paradise
Cook and baker extraordinaire Helen Fields is the Pride of Paradise. Texas, that is. Read about her winning recipes, and the cookbooks sent to The Culinary Cellar.
Miss Patti’s Cookbook
Kellie is one of my readers who not only sent a box of books for The Culinary Cellar, but included heartfelt notes about each book of why they were special.
