Halibut de Jour

Ingredients
  • 2 pounds halibut fillets
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • ¾ cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup dry bread crumbs
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1-1/2 Tablespoons chopped chives
  • ⅓ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Additional chopped chives and lemon wedges, if desired for garnish
Instructions
  1. Heat oven to 400 degrees F. Place fillets in a buttered baking dish and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  2. Combine sour cream, bread crumbs, garlic salt, and chives. Spread over halibut and sprinkle with cheese and paprika.
  3. Bake, uncovered, for about 10 minutes per inch of thickness or until fish tests done. Serve with additional chopped chives and lemon wedges, if desired.
