I have been finding so many good cookbooks lately, here and in California, that I am having my first “Box ‘O Cookbooks” in the weekly drawing. I’ll announce this one now instead of my usual Monday since there are so many and it will give everyone a little more time to enter. These are all great cookbooks! I think one lucky winner will be very pleased. Send me an email at the culinary cellar address on the right of the blog page and leave me your name and email address by midnight, September 10th. I will email the person whose name is drawn and get your address to mail the books. Make room on your shelf for these – most of them are really big books! Good luck everyone!
-I Hear America Cooking is Betty Fussell’s 1986 masterpiece. She traveled all over the USA gathering the best of American cooking.
–Great Good Food from Julee Russo of Silver Palate fame, offers luscious lower fat cooking.
–The Joy of Seafood by Patrice Boley is filled with more than 150 exquisite fish and seafood recipes.
-The ever-popular Food Network Star, Sandra Lee of Semi-Homemade, has her 2nd book of 20-Minute Meals 2. It includes everything from starters to desserts.
–Amy Vanderbilt’s Complete Cookbook is an oldie but a goodie from 1961. This book lives up to its name as having everything!
-(P.S. If I can squeeze one more in, I will, but it will be a surprise!)
