The 100 contestants in the Bake-Off cooked their dishes today with the hope of winning one million dollars. I am still here in Orlando, and returned earlier from watching the contestants cook. Now I have to get ready for the celebration party tonight, where hopefully all the contestants have had a restful afternoon after a morning of cooking. It’s time to let go and have fun before the winner will be announced tomorrow. I will have several more blogs coming in the next week, but wanted to offer a little taste of what’s to come.
This is a small portion of the Bake-Off floor where the contestants cooked today.
Here is host Martha Stewart walking down all the aisles of cooking stations, chatting with contestants and sampling their dishes. She looked like she was having a great time, and stopped by my friend Brett’s cooking area to talk about his beautiful tart.
We had dinner with Martha last night! She was at the table right next to us, so we got some great shots. She talked about the Bake-Off of course, and also about her new cookbook to be released soon about American cooking. Wait until I tell you about Martha’s cookbook collection. At our table, we spoke with one of her assistants who told us all about it. More on that later!

I have to say that I’m on pins and needles about tomorrow’s announcement but now I’m REALLY excited to hear about Martha’s cookbook collection!!!
I’m so glad she enjoyed herself! I missed the opportunity to meet her when I won. They’d planned a segment, but it got bumped because I famous chef was in town.
