The Culinary Cellar Make-Over- Day Two

Before I went to sleep last night, I had to go in the basement and smell that beautiful wood aroma!  Even though the transformation has barely begun, I can see it all in my mind’s eye.  I feel asleep anticipating today’s work.

These beautiful shelves are being constructed by my sister-in-law’s husband, Larry.  Larry makes all kinds of furniture, closets, and much more.  I am guessing this is the first time he has built a culinary cellar!

Larry arrives!
The blank basement wall is ready!
Tools ready to go!

Time to get started!
First piece up!!
Then before I knew it – the first group of shelves!
And then there were two!  Great job, Larry!!  One more to go in this row.  That’s for tomorrow.  After the first long row of shelves is done, then we have to stop for a few days – because then we are getting a new kitchen floor installed!  Come back next week to see how what’s happening next.  How this all happened in one week is beyond me.  It’s just they way it worked out.   But that’s okay, because it means progress and new things to look forward to very soon.  Change is good.  And I am so ready for change…

It’s fun watching the process. I can’t wait to see the end result.
