If you have never prepared a turkey or any part of a Thanksgiving meal before, then this book is for you. If you are a veteran at Thanksgiving, then it is also for you! It is filled with step-by-step instructions, has a question and answer area for all of your concerns, lots of advice and tips, a time table for preparation, what you can do ahead, and most of all, great recipes for every part of the meal.
You will LOVE this cookbook!! Rick Rodgers writes great cookbooks of all kinds, but this one is exceptional. He used to give cooking classes just on Thanksgiving recipes and planning. You will never worry about cooking for a crowd again. It’s a must-have!
If you would like to enter the random drawing for these wonderful cookbooks, send your name and email address to [email protected] by this Friday, November 4th, at 11:59 pm, and I will notify the winner over the weekend. I’ll send them out right away to the winner so you have them in time for your Thanksgiving meal!
Congratulations to Angela S. from Clovis, New Mexico who won the Green Giant/Bake-Off giveaway!
Why I Started This Blog
I love cookbooks. I mean I really love them. I love to read them, treasure them, learn from them, and, of course, cook from them. To me, cookbooks take on a life all of their own. They are history, family, and memories. I have been collecting cookbooks and writing down treasured recipes of family, friends, and neighbors since about age twelve, which means I now own thousands of cookbooks, recipes, and clippings. Now I want to share them with you along with the many other culinary treasures of my cellar." - Debbie Vanni
