What I am Thankful for this Thanksgiving

A list of things to be thankful for in my entire life would make a book, so I will list some that have been this past year.

First-  We have 6 healthy and wonderful grandchildren.  My heart is full.

I am thankful I survived a second bout of cancer recently that was caught in early stages and I will be fine to enjoy my grandchildren, husband and two daughters.

Even though I have lost both parents, two brothers, aunts, uncles, and cousins, I am grateful to have had them at all.  I miss them every single day.

What would life be like without friends?  I love all my friends, from early childhood to the present.

I am grateful we now have even more family in Finland to love.

I am grateful to have connected with second and third cousins, who remind me how much family there is to love.

There is so much more, but remember,

All you need is Love.

Happy Thanksgiving.  Hug everyone.

Happy Thanksgiving to you & your family. Thanking the Lord with you for all your blessings. Your cup of joy is truly overflowing! Congratulations on your recent #6 grandchild, a precious granddaughter. And so grateful to hear of your good health to enjoy all of your wonderful family for years to come. I know I, too, am so thankful this Thanksgiving, & everyday, for all my family & friends, which includes you! Love to you all.

Kim, I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving, and now I can see you and the girls making all the Christmas goodies! I’m sure we both will get out all those great Finnish cookie and bread recipes. (P.S. My wonderful doctor I had for my surgery was a Finn! We had many fun conversations.) Sending love and hugs to you all.

I always appreciate your posts and I am so glad to hear that you caught the diagnosis early and that you will be well. Many blessings our way for you and your family.

Thank you for the kind words, Margaux. I’m so grateful you didn’t give up reading my blogs since they have been so spotty for months. I’m going to have more energy in the New Year to keep up with it. I have missed writing them and hearing from my readers. The happiest holidays to you and your family.

Hugs and blessings from my house to yours this holiday season. I so enjoy all of your posts. As my family and friends have decreased in numbers, I so look forward to being able to share in your family.
My thankful for this year is to also being able to say I am in remission.
